She has influenced me in every way. My mother nurtured me as a child for caring for my every needs. She made me feel special because she made me feel that I can do anything in my life. Leading by example, she has shown me that I can be good at many things as well. That I don't have to limit myself. She has shown me the importance of technology, "the computer only does what you tell it to do", creativity, efficiency and love.
Especially she had an influence on my career choice. She has instilled in me the importance of early childhood education by being involved in it and also by letting me be involved in it. My family owns two preschools in Japan and I have been an active participant in those preschools from an early age. Working in those preschools, I was able to have constant contact with children and build my experience and wisdom through trial and error and from learning teaching styles from other teachers. Also, she gave me the ability to see the holistic view. To view not just need of individual children and teachers, but the school in general, curriculum and the sustainability of preschools as businesses.
